For 20 years, Sikla UK has been walking the extra mile and living the dream. Since registering the business on the 15th May 2003, we have celebrated many milestones that have made the company you see today and we are proud of these achievements.
Over the past 20 years, our mission has been to provide innovative pipe support solutions for our customers and support them at every stage of their projects. With this mission, we have seen our company grow and have been fortunate enough to expand our markets by opening new branches in Australia, New Zealand and Northern Ireland.

Early Days of Sikla UK
The story of Sikla UK, and Sikla Oceania, started in August 1994 when Managing Director Harry Starke picked up a newspaper. What’s so special about this newspaper? It had a job advertisement for a position within the sales department at Sikla Germany.

After settling into his role, Harry expressed to his manager, that he wanted to widen his knowledge and work internationally. Luckily for Mr Starke, the first UK Sikla project had just begun, which was the Formula 1 McLaren Technology Centre in 1999. Wanting to continue the project's legacy, Harry engaged with many suppliers and distributors which became the beginning of opening a Sikla UK.

Inside our 20th Anniversary celebrations
On the 17th June 2023, Sikla UK hosted our 20th Anniversary celebration at a stunning venue The Falcon, Castle Ashby.
For our special celebration, around 60 people joined us for an evening filled with amazing food, drinks, laughter, dancing, and sharing Sikla memories over the past 20 years. Guests included current and former employees in addition to their partners and families. Together all our attendees have contributed to developing an incredible business.

We are privileged to have been joined by Sighart Klauß, founder of Sikla, and his wife who made a special trip from Germany to attend the party. In addition to Mr Klauß, we were joined by the second and third generation of the Klauß family whom we recognise for the invaluable contributions that have shaped the Sikla group.

The Future of Sikla UK
Since 2010, we have called Unit 3 Newmarket Court our home and after 13 years it’s time to expand.
In April 2023, Sikla UK acquired Unit 4 Newmarket Court (across the road from our original office Unit 3) which will become our dedicated space for prefabrication and training. Inspired by the interior of our Canning Vale office in Australia, both units 3 and 4 will undergo a full refurbishment to reflect the image and core values of Sikla. We are excited for our future with both units scheduled to be completed in October 2023.

The Sikla UK you see today comes from the highs and lows we have experienced in our 20-year journey. We believe that thinking outside the box, being creative and developing customised solutions have been instrumental to our development and become the success of our business.
